I need to keep practicing, gotta learn the basics so I can then draw awesome dragons and shit. More practice hopefully will mean more better.

Late night painting.

Just a little late night painting. Half finished as always. =/ I'm trying to find a better work flow, so that way even when I don't finish a piece, it still feels more done than most. I always find myself always jumping ahead, I think I did that this time too. I need to work on my pieces more as a whole than trying to do piece by piece.

Oh well, each stroke I learn something new.

Got some new Prisma Color greyscale markers yesterday. Feel more motivated. First full page anything I've done. Pretty proud of the direction this can lead me.

Hey all, here is a concept that's been on my mind for a while. While my GF was watching the movie 'Tangled' I saw a scene where Rapunzel's hair gets braided by little kids, and I thought to myself 'Self, wouldn't that be pretty awesome if she had a blade at the end of her hair and fought with that?'

And so I drew of some concepts today and came up with this, I like the direction I went with her costume but I think I need to tweak it some more to make it more dynamic, I want more flowing pieces of cloth on her so when she fights its almost like a dance. But at the same time I want it to be practical.

That may come later, but for now, this is what you get. Below is a page of concepts I made before doing the main piece.
